This is Pride in the South: Birmingham’s 47th Pridefest

Birmingham’s 47th annual PrideFest took over Linn Park on Sunday, wrapping up two weeks of events organized by Central Alabama Pride. The celebration follows Saturday night’s Pride parade in the Lakeview district and concludes a slate of 36 events across the city. Central Alabama Pride, a Birmingham-based nonprofit, has been advocating for LGBTQ+ Alabamians for nearly 50 years.
